Discover the Foundation's Areas of Interest
The Deluxe Corporation Foundation considers applications from organizations that:
- Have a primary mission that meets one of the Foundation's grant focus areas
- Have obtained tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) or 509(a)(1), (2) or (3)
- Have operated as a nonprofit for at least two years
- Have secured support from other corporate funders
- Are located near Deluxe facilities
Our grant focus areas include the following types of initiatives:
Investing in Tomorrow through Education
- Partnerships with business schools (request for proposal process)
- After-school academic enrichment programs
- Business education programs
Strengthening Communities through Prevention & Intervention
- Investing in our youth
- Self-sufficiency programs
- Small business coaching
- Crisis response and intervention
Enriching Communities through the Arts
- Professional performing arts groups (orchestras, theaters, choral groups, dance companies)
- Museums
- School outreach programs
United Way
- Employee donations to United Way chapters are matched 1:1 by the Deluxe Corporation Foundation
The Foundation does NOT fund the following:
- Individuals
- Organizations without 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status
- Event sponsorships (e.g., conferences, fundraisers)
- Advertising
- Political organizations or projects
- Lobbying efforts
- Fraternal organizations
- Religious programs
- Research
- Travel expenses
- Start-up organizations
- Athletic and recreational programs
- Long-term housing
- Civic organizations
- Health (e.g., hospitals, patient care, specific health issues)
- Organizations primarily supported by government sources
